The 2021 vintage

In 2021, Team Belargus rolled their sleeves up, and often crossed fingers in the face of a capricious Nature… The vintage will be recalled as a difficult one, late, and marked by frost (almost 70% of the harvest was lost). Despite the challenges, many experiments were carried out during the year, such as our first biodynamic trials, 5 successive selections (a record!) and the planting of an experimental vineyard to test different solutions for adapting to global warming. In the end, despite a very small harvest, the quality is there, with well-balanced wines with a sparkling profile.
