The 2019 vintage

The 2019 vintage was marked by frost: after an unseasonably warm winter, a wave of frost hit on the night of 4 April, wiping out more than 80% of our vineyards. This was followed by a spring in which the vines chased each other, growing at breakneck speed. The summer was particularly hot and dry. In the end, the vintage turned out to be tiny in volume, but immense in quality: the few grapes, harvested in a fortnight, produced dry white wines of spectacular concentration, with elegant aromas and fine aciditý. This is the greatest vintage vinified at the Domaine to date, with wines set to face decades of cellaring.
