The 2020 vintage

In 2020, let’s face it: Nature did spoil us. Each stage of the process, the vines have been given exactly what they need, and we’ve even had the luxury of respecting the natural cycle of seasons! Abundant water in the spring, dry, hot weather in the summer… and even a few salutary rains before harvests, which took place in glorious sunshine throughout September. Although it was looking good, the only ‘surprise’ was that it rained in mid-October, compromising all our hopes of producing great sweet wines that year. This vintage produced well-balanced, easily digestible wines in the typical Loire style.
